From November 2024, Dr Saly Boles will joint Kilmuckridge Medical Centre.
From the 1st of July 2024, the Free Contraception Service for women is being extended to women aged 35.
Age extension to free GP Care for Children from the 11th of August 2023.
If your child is aged 6 or 7 please register on the HSE online portal from the 11th of August.
Also from September there is an increase in the income limits for entitlement to a Doctor Visit Card. This is good news for patients in the cost of living crisis as it enable patients to access GP services through the General Medical Service for free and also additional HSE programmes such as Chronic Disease Management.
From the 1st of March 2023, all prescription request must be in writing. This is to improve patient safety and reduce prescription errors. Prescription request forms are available from the practice or a prescription can be requested from this website.
Please note that 48 hours is required.
Unfortunately, there is currently an extensive waiting list to join the practice. We are unable to take further names at present. This is due to a shortage of GP's nationally.

Cervical Screening ages have changed. Women now aged 25- 65 are eligible for screening. Press the Check now button to see if your free cervical screen is due.
The HSE has rolled out free home testing service for STI's for people aged 17 and older.

Please note a GP receptionist is not simply someone who answers the phone, they are specially trained to help you get the most appropriate treatment as soon as possible. In order to do this, they may need to ask you questions about why you need to see a doctor.
Your right to privacy will always be respected and if you do not wish to disclose any information but feel your issue is urgent please inform reception staff of this and a doctor will endeavor to contact you as soon as possible.
Please be advised that 72 hours processing times for administrative request, form, etc. Please ensure you allow appropriate time for processing if forms/letters are required for deadlines.
These services incur a fee unless for the Department of Social Protection.
